High compatibility with smart home systems

Luxy Smart Light is developed on Z-Wave technology. This means it works with all certified Z-Wave gateways, from different manufacturers. To ensure your Luxy is perfectly compatible with your gateway, we are constantly carrying out compatibility tests with different gateways.

Which functionalities are available if I use Luxy Smart Light as a standalone product, not connected to a smart home? + -

Which functionalities are available if Luxy Smart Light is included in a smart home network? + -

Besides all the functionalities listed under the previous point (nr. 5), you can control Luxy Smart Light and the output connected to it, remotely via smartphone. Due to a Z-Wave network, you can use associations, notifications, power consumption measurement, etc.

Does Luxy Smart Light work without neutral line? + -

No, a neutral line is mandatory for its proper operation.

Does Luxy Smart Light always illuminate, or can I shut it off and how? + -

Luxy Smart Light is there for you to make you feel comfortable. If it emits too much light or if you want complete darkness, just dim it to decrease the brightness or switch it off completely. It easy, to dim, hold the top button. To switch it off, press the top button.

Can I set Luxy Smart Light in a way that it illuminates in a specific color at a defined time schedule? + -

Sure. This is one of the Luxy Smart Light main features. It depends on the gateway you own, but usually, it is very user friendly to set up scenarios/scenes, where you can select the desired color and set a time schedule.

Can I use Luxy Smart Light to signalize alarms and alerts in combination with other Z-Wave devices/sensors? + -

Sure thing. You need to setup proper associations and you are good to go. For detailed description check the Luxy Smart Light extended manual chapters 12.5 and 12.6.

Can I use Luxy Smart Light to control other Z-Wave devices and vice versa? + -

Yes, you can. This is the standard when using Z-Wave technology. You can directly control other devices via associations.
